Paramount Services’ Jenny Chen named BDO Spicers Franchisee of the Year 2007

Jenny received her award at a glittering ceremony at Auckland's Langham Hotel which showcased the best franchise businesses from around New Zealand.
In less than two years Jenny's company has gone from nothing to servicing 20 commercial clients and increased its turnover by almost 200 per cent. The judges were impressed by Jenny’s hands-on approach in checking jobs and meeting client needs.
"We work at being proactive," says Jenny. "It's not just about doing any cleaning, you must also use your head and pre-empt any problems to avoid client complaints." Low staff turnover has also helped her business to succeed.
Paramount Services franchisees Kosta and Violeta Krstevska of Alviko Cleaning and Henry Chen and Shaleen Tang of C&T Bright were also finalists in the Business Services category and Paramount Franchise Services was one of three finalists for the Franchise System of the Year Award won by Fastway Couriers.
Paramount Services general manager franchise services Paul Brown said having a winner and four finalists in the New Zealand Franchise Awards was a magnificent achievement.
"Jenny, Kosta and Violeta and Henry and Shaleen are superb Paramount Services franchisees and collectively promote the Paramount Services brand to a new high. Each franchisee acknowledged the assistance of their support team who share the honour of success.
"I would like to acknowledge Galvin and Sue Bartlett, Colleen Thompson, Hingano Mataele, Wilson Wen, Bill Wu and his team, Sangeetha Shaikh and the Customer Service Team, Paul Hayes and Tim Marshall who all add enormous value to our people."
In 2006 Paramount Services was a finalist in the Franchise System category and Ernie and Yvonne Becker of Topline were finalists in the Business Services category.
